This calculator is the first of two calculators that will assist you in determining how much money you can contribute to your investing goals on a monthly basis. It will help you to identify those "Hidden Expenses" that don't come up every month and are often overlooked in a budgeting process. This will then become one input in the Cash Flow Calculator where you will document your more obvious monthly expenses and determine the amount of money you have available for your investing goals.

You don't need to fill in every blank of the calculator below, but consider each item carefully. At the bottom is a miscellaneous "Other" category where you can lump expenses that are not included elsewhere in the calculator. Keep in mind that these are "yearly" totals. The calculator will make the "monthly" total at the bottom.
