NAOI Study Course Testing Example

Following is an illustration of the testing functionality presented in the NAOI Study Courses. Shown below is one question from the NAOI Certification Course. You can see that each question is multiple choice and you simple click the radio button beside the answer you believe to be correct. Each lesson presents between 15 and 30 questions and is aimed at measuring your grasp of the facts and key concepts presented in that lesson. You must answer ALL questions correctly to pass a test. NAOI tests, like real-life investing, allow for no mistakes.

After you have answered all of the questions for a test you will click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the test page. Your answers will be sent to the NAOI grading servers and within a few seconds your results will be displayed. The results page will display each question, your answer and a "Correct" or "Wrong" indicator. If your answer is wrong you will be shown where to go in the course material to find a discussion of the topic addressed in the question. You are not simply given the answer. Following is an illustration of what you would see for a wrong answer.

For questions that you answer correctly you are shown a green checkmark and a further expansion on your correct answer. This information is presented to reinforce your knowledge of the subject in question and to enhance your learning retention.

NAOI tests are scientifically designed to ensure that when you complete a course lesson you have grasped and retained the essential information presented. When you have correctly answered all questions for a test this fact is recorded on your Testing Scorecard, an example portion of which is shown below. The green "Passed" indicator is lit for tests that you have successfully completed. Your Scorecard tracks your progress through the course material.

When you have passed all course tests the NAOI grading system recognizes this fact and a pop-up window will appear on your screen that gives you a unique course completion number. For the NAOI Certification Program you will use this number to request your graduation Diploma and Letter of Certification. For the Confident Investing program you will use this number to request your Graduation Diploma.
