Course 3: Investing in Focused Funds

Course 3 of the NAOI Certification Program teaches you how to easily invest in entire target markets using Focused Funds. Example target markets are Energy, Gold, Emerging Markets, China, Real Estate, etc. Focused investments such as these hold the potential for annual returns of 40%, 50%, 60% and higher!

This course first shows you how to identify target markets and sectors that have the potential for explosive growth and then how to invest in them with one easy transaction using Sector Funds and/or Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). A major advantage of Focused Fund investing is that it bypasses the need to analyze individual stocks! This is a new and exciting type of investing that all investors should consider as one segment of their portfolio.

New for 2009: Current market conditions make this the most potentially powerful segment of the portfolio. Trading ETFs to take advantage of market volatility can produce incredible returns. For the 2009 version we place greater emphasis on finding ETFs for a variety of market segments and then implementing an automated trading plan for each that limits losses and takes profits. We also examine "bear market" ETFs. These investments go UP when the underlying market or asset goes down. Bear ETFs for sectors such as Real Estate, Financials and even Oil/Energy earned incredible returns in 2008 while the rest of the market was sinking. In 2009 Focused Funds need to be a part of your investing toolkit.

Target Return from this Portfolio Segment: 20%+
