Individual Investor Certification NAOI Individual Investor Certification is
a designation awarded to students who complete Courses
1 through 5 of the NAOI Confident Investing Series. Completion is
defined as successfully passing all of the online tests presented for each course. A
more extensive discussion of the purpose and goals of the
Certification Program is found in the "Certification"
area of this site.
The NAOI
Certification Program Product
The Certification Program is an NAOI
offering that bundles Courses 1 through 5 of the Confident Investing Series into one
economical product that can be ordered in the Order/Join
area of this site. This product enables you to access all four courses
with one NAOI Membership ID and Password.
NAOI Certification can also be achieved
by taking each of these courses individually. Doing so, however,
will require separate NAOI Memberships and sign-in codes for each
course.

The Certification
Program Goal
The NAOI Individual
Investor Certification Program is designed to provide individuals with
a comprehensive education for a full range of investing types and
activities. NAOI Certified Investors will have the confidence to invest in:
- Core Mutual Funds
- Focused Mutual
Funds
- Individual Stocks
- Stock Options
These investment types
represent the full spectrum of securities that individuals should
consider for their portfolios in order to maximize its wealth
potential.
Not all program graduates will decide to include each investment type
in their portfolio. But this is a decision that needs to be made with
a full knowledge of the pros and cons of each type of
investing. Such decisions should not be made by default due to lack of
understanding of how each investment type works.
Certified Investors
will have at their disposal a complete set of tools to build a
portfolio that enables them to meet virtually any investing goal they
set.
