The NAOI Target Market

Any person with money to invest will benefit from completing an NAOI Study Course. Whether you have $1,000 to invest or $20 million. Whether you are targeting aggressive goals or just trying to hang on to what you have. Whether you have just started your first job out of high school or have been investing for 30 years. The basic principles of investing are the same for everyone and the need for knowledge, planning and resources applies across the board. Not everyone, however, will use the information they acquire from the study courses in the same manner. Below are a few investor “types” and how each will benefit from NAOI education.
.

New Investors.
Some of you are just starting your working career and may have only a few thousand dollars to invest. You may think that this is not enough money to get serious about investing. Quite the contrary. You have something far more valuable than money; you have time. Time is the most precious asset that exists in the investing world. But time, like money, must be used wisely. There is no more productive investment you can make at this stage of your investing career than the commitment of time to learning how the investing world works. An Investing Plan created now can guide your decisions throughout your investing career. You will benefit more than most from completing an NAOI Study Course.

Experienced Investors. Perhaps you have invested for years and are comfortable with your knowledge. Fine. But to maximize your potential you also need to keep up with the latest tools of the trade. Almost every day new Web resources crop up and innovative trading vehicles (e.g. Exchange Traded Funds) are introduced into the market . Regardless of your level of investing experience you will learn something new in an NAOI Study Course that has the potential to improve your investing results.

Conservative Investors. If you are an investor simply trying to hold onto what you have, or trying to generate a monthly income, you may think that “serious” investing is too risky for your situation. You would be wrong. Investing is not limited to trading stocks, bonds or funds. It also deals with such activities as finding the best Certificates of Deposit, the best Money Market Accounts, the highest yield Savings Bonds, the safest stocks that pay a dividend, etc. As a conservative investor you need to make knowledgeable decisions just as much as people who trade stocks on a daily basis. No single factor decreases risk in a portfolio to a greater degree than knowledge!

Aggressive Investors. Some of you have investing goals requiring returns that far exceed market averages. You cannot meet these goals by being a passive investor or by relying on third party advice. You need to trade stocks and you will learn how through NAOI education. We are not talking about “day-trading”. We are talking about how to identify stocks poised to move higher and putting in place a trading plan that enables you to effectively manage risk. If you know what you are doing and stay involved, trading stocks and realizing returns far in excess of market averages does not have to be a risky strategy.

Passive Investors. Perhaps you are happy simply acting on the advice of a full-service broker or financial advisor. In NAOI courses we encourage you to build a team of professional advisors. We even show you how. But we discourage you from passively accepting recommendations from any third party. As an NAOI course graduate you will, at a minimum, be able to actively work with and challenge your advisor by analyzing any recommendation they give to you. Even if you don’t plan to spend a lot of time on your investing activities, the amount of time you do spend must be productive. It takes no more than a few minutes using the online resources discussed in the Study Courses to ask the right questions. Gaining the respect of your advisor is priceless!

Skeptical Investors. You may believe that when it comes to investing the deck is stacked against you and that no matter what you do you will probably “get taken”. Certainly if you are going to try to trade stocks without being properly prepared then, yes, the odds are not in your favor. But if you are willing to prepare yourself by completing an NAOI Study Course, the odds swing dramatically in your favor. If you are a skeptic, we would ask that you suspend any preconceptions until you finish a course. Then decide your level of interest. Don’t quit before you have started.

What Type Of Investor Do You WANT To Be?

No matter what “type” of investor you are now, the question is: What type of investor do you want to be? Don’t put yourself in any of the above categories until you have finished an NAOI Study Course. Then make your decision based on knowledge. Don’t “type” yourself by default. We have seen students completely change their attitude toward investing after completing an NAOI course. You may just be surprised at the type of investor that you really are!
